I have always been drawn to the creative process, but my official journey began at the University of Washington, where I majored in art with a minor in architecture. This foundation has allowed me to turn my passion into a career.
Over 20 years ago, I discovered my calling while working in a design center for a builder. The experience was transformative, and I knew immediately I'd found my forever career. Wanting to deepen my expertise, I pursued a second degree in interior design at Bellevue College. Since then, I've had the privilege of managing multiple design studios and bringing thousands of homes to life.
Now, I'm excited to launch my biggest project, Fears Design. A studio built on the belief that great design requires fearlessness.
I always say I have two customers: the home and the client. The architecture dictates the path, while the client brings the style. I bring my client's vision to life while staying true to the architecture, creating spaces that feel authentic and timeless.
I'm a Washington native, having grown up in Sammamish, and now calling Magnolia home. When I'm not designing, you'll find me traveling with my wife and our energetic boys (5 and 8), trying new recipes, painting, obsessing over music, shuttling kids to various activities, and always finding a sunset to catch.
